The Parousia School for Awakening responds to T.S. Eliot's query by forming a learning community of mature wisdom-seekers who study humanity's most sagacious wisdom traditions, internalize their principles, and apply their insights in everyday life through practical exercises and experiments-in-being.

Questianity is can be practiced by anyone of any religion, or no religion. Questianity is a philosophical approach to opening all of life's biggest and most pressing questions into a more holistic and relevant field of inquiry.
The practice of Questianity begins with grounding oneself in the soul through an ecology of practices that elicit wisdom and insight from the community of practitioners. By practically engaging a suite of exercises and activities that generate the conditions for the emergence of mindfulness and meaning, through which we learn to become more sensitive and effective servants of the community at large.

In these ecologies of learning and practice, we take a deep dive into the scriptures, theology, liturgy, art, spirituality, and cultural traditions of the Christian church at large (Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant) in order to defamiliarize our entrenched views of the Christianity we thought we knew. We will defamiliarize our obsolete notions of the Christway, which we imported from an already defunct Christendom, and re-familiarize ourselves with the true and authentic Jesus, by the Grace of the Holy Spirit, as well as the Christway that Jesus introduced into the world to transform the human soul.
Our aim is to reframe millennia of misunderstanding, misappropriation, and misapplication of Christ's teachings on ethics, metaphysics, eschatology, and nearly everything else under the sun!

We are a group of seekers and finders who desire a deeper experience of God, reality, ourselves, and one another through the contemplative and interactive pursuit of wisdom. We follow a powerful and transformative ecology of practices rooted in the Fourth Way teachings of Gurdjeff, Ouspensky, Bennett, and Nicoll in order to serve the community and humanity through the real, participatory knowing of contemplative altruism and transformative koinonia.
